Mahaila Patterson-O'Brien in in several times at SFU Woodward's
in several times is a choreography of space, memory, and the body, created with and performed by Marc Arboleda, Kayla DeVos, Gordon Havelaar, Mahaila Patterson O’Brien, and Charlotte Priest, with sound design and composition by Matthew Ariaratnam. Through movement, sound, and the senses, in several times investigates the body’s relationship to memory and space – spaces we’ve been and spaces we have yet to be, spaces we recall and spaces remembered through stories. Memory invisible and memory felt – memories that shape us, that hold our bodies, that our bodies remember, that remember us.
