Erika Mitsuhashi is an emerging dance artist based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Erika has interpreted the work of Robert Kitsos, Vanessa Goodman, Judith Garay, Katie DeVries and Daisy Thompson in festivals and platforms such as International Dance Day hosted by The Dance Center, Dance Allsorts, Dancing on the Edge, The Interplay Project, Vancouver International Dance Festival and Simon Fraser University masters showcase.  

As a choreographer, she has had her work presented locally and nationally by the Powell Street Festival, Toronto’s PS:We are All Here and the Surrey Art Gallery’s InFlux.  

She is excited to be performing this Spring with Deanna Peters/Mutable Subject's Dancers Playing Basketball as part of Vancouver International Dance Festival and Justine Chamber's work Semi-precious: the faceting of a gemstone only appears complete and critical in the upcoming ReFuse event at the Vancouver Art Gallery.  Erika is also preparing to present an excerpt of a new duet with collaborator dance artist Francesca Frewer at the Shooting Gallery Performance Series at the end of March.

Felicia is an emerging dance artist in Vancouver, BC. She holds a BFA Honours degree from SFU School for the Contemporary Arts. She has had the privilege to interpret the works of Emmalena Fredriksson, Judith Garay, Meredith Kalaman, Rob Kitsos, Hong Kong Exile and Mahaila Patterson-O’Brien. She has performed in several arts festivals in BC, including Victoria’s ROMP Festival, Victoria’s Dance Days, Dance in Vancouver, Music on Main, New Work’s Dance Allsorts, and Club PUSH. Additionally, Felicia has toured with choreographer Meredith Kalaman to Edmonton and Berlin.

Felicia also serves on the board of directors for the Training Society of Vancouver.

Mahaila Patterson-O’Brien is an emerging choreographer in Vancouver, BC. She holds a BFA (Hons.) in Dance from SFU School for the Contemporary Arts where she studied with Judith Garay, Henry Daniel, Rob Kitsos, Cheryl Prophet and Marla Eist. She has also studied at The School for Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg, MB, and at The University of Winnipeg. Other influential mentors have included Constance Cooke, Jung-Ah Chung, Claire French (Restless Productions), Jennifer Mascall (MascallDance), and Wen Wei Wang.

As a choreographer her work has been presented at multiple venues, including Dance in Vancouver 2017, Dance Victoria Choreographic Lab, ROMP! Festival of Dance (Victoria), Project CPR (Choreographic Practice and Research), 12 Minutes Max (The Dance Centre), Dance Allsorts (New Works), ASCENSION 20132014 (SFU Woodward’s), and Launch! Festival. Many of her works involve the use of projections and are collaborations with composer and new media artist Remy Siu.
